Deliverance from the Legacy of Slavery is  committed to helping black people heal from the legacy of slavery by addressing the wounds that have occurred on multiple levels over the centuries. 

This includes complex trauma that has shaped and influenced the brain of trauma victims due to slavery and its legacy.

Deliverance from the Legacy of Slavery will address wounding in the areas of self-identity, emotional dysfunctions, self-worth, anger, self-love, dysfunctional behavior patterns, limiting beliefs (psychological blocks), other blocks (spiritual, emotional, generational), white distrust, health challenges that may be the result of the emotional legacy of slavery and other issues that have impacted black people. 

White People

Deliverance from the Legacy of Slavery recognizes that the legacy of slavery has also shaped the reality for white people and we are committed to helping them heal. We will examine questions such as: What it took for past generations to enslave fellow human beings? What did it cost them emotionally, spiritually, and generationally? What was at play and what was the motivating factor(s)? Furthermore, we will examine what is the legacy that has been passed down and how is it  at play now? With a renewed awareness, what would they choose to do about it?

Mixed Multitude

Deliverance from the Legacy of Slavery recognizes that many groups of people have been wounded by the legacy of slavery, whether they were the perpetrators or the victims of the slavery abuse.

Christ has made healing available to all if they choose to accept it. It is our desire to create a safe and healing environment so that members can examine, explore, learn, and be delivered from the legacy of slavery through the freedom of Christ. 

The Real Enemy

The Deliverance from the Legacy of Slavery is determined to help believers to recognize that our fellow human beings are not the true enemy. Our true enemy is the enemy of God that uses principalities, powers, rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in high places to interfere and influence the hearts and minds of men. It is our desire to collaborate with God and men to help heal the rifts, damages and the legacy of slavery so that we can join as one body against the true enemy which is Satan and his hosts and those who have chosen to follow in the path of this ungodly foe. 

As coaches, teachers, facilitators, shepherds, evangelists, apostles and prophets, we are committed to advance the work and kingdom of God through truth, honestly, love, forgiveness and kindness. The path before us is challenging but through Christ Jesus we can do all things. Therefore there is nothing that is impossible for us, in Jesus name, amen.
